Child Protection Comic Book

11/15/2016

CJCP developed a five page comic book for adults after being requested to do so by the Walmer community as part of the Umhlali Project.  The purpose of the comic book is to encourage adults to take appropriate action if they suspect a child is being neglected or abused.  Too often adults feel they should not get involved because it is none of their business. However, children are especially vulnerable and require the assistance and support of adults in accessing help.

The comic book is available in English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. Organisations are encouraged to download and print the comic book for use in their own programmes.  The comic book is licensed under Creative Commons, and may not be used for commercial purposes.  The comic book is available in JPEG format and must be downloaded from Dropbox due to its size.  Each page is an individual JPEG file.
